Graham Geoffries, the publisher and editor of Aeronautical Archive has spent his entire life in aviation.  As a pilot with over 30 years flying experience in both military and civil aviation, he was qualified on fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft.  Serving on a unit where he was often required to fly several different types in one day he retired from flying having flown 15 rotary and 24 fixed wing types.  Whilst serving as the units Flight Safety Officer he attended several accident investigation and flight safety courses and holds a long held interest in flight safety.

Having retired from flying he turned to journalism but became disenchanted with the mass media aviation magazines which seemed only to require articles that demanded little from the reader.  With a long held interest in the history of British aviation he often wrote about the more obscure aspects and frequently received rejection slips.  Believing that serious aviation historians would welcome a more pro-active forum Aeronautical Archive was born.

Contributions are welcome from all sources and with the publisher and editor having been on the receiving end of the media moguls you may be assured that if they are well written and fit in with the aims of Aeronautical Archive they will receive a sympathetic review.
